Core Network Upgrades - Week 2 (SN-20210713-2)

Issue Summary

As part of our ongoing commitment to stability and performance of our network, we will be performing software updates across our core network estate spread over the next three weeks. This work will require an outage of around 45 minutes per device.

Resilient devices in each site will be upgraded during separate windows to minimise impact across the network.

Customers with resilient circuits, or consuming services in other sites should not see any impact to their service. However, all services will be considered at risk for the duration of the window. Vorboss has taken all steps to mitigate the outage during the maintenance window.

Customer with non-resilient services will see an impact to their services within the sites included in the provided windows.

The service maintenance will be conducted between 21:00 UTC and 02:00 UTC for the sites and dates listed below:

Window 5 - 25/07/2021

  • GB/HRL01 (Harlow - Kao Data)
  • GB/LON01 (London - LDeX 1)
  • GB/LON08 (London - Equinix LD4)

Window 6 - 26/07/2021

  • GB/LON02 (London - Telehouse Docklands)
  • GB/LON06 (London - Volta Data Centres)

Window 7 - 27/07/2021

  • GB/LON07 (London - Interxion LON1)
  • GB/LON10 (London - Virtus London 1)

Window 8 - 28/07/2021

  • GB/LON11 (London - Sovereign House)
  • GB/STV01 (Stevenage - ServerChoice SC-1)

We will update this maintenance ticket prior to commencing works in each site and will update again once complete.

GB/LON02 has been given the all clear. Unforeseen issues lead to a longer than anticipated downtime.
