GB/LON01 to GB/LON06 Fibre Fault (SN-20200721-1)
Resolved on Wednesday 22 July at 09:38 UTC.
There is currently a fault with a fibre link between GB/LON01 (LDeX1) and GB/LON06 (Volta Data Centre).
Traffic has been automatically re-routed using alternate paths and there has been no interruption to service.
Customers should be aware that these sites are operating with reduced resiliency only. There is no service level impact. We will update this notice once the route is brought back into service.

This issue was resolved at 00:45 AM UTC (01:45 BST) this morning.
This was caused by a fibre break in a joint that was deemed not repairable. New fibres were spliced in to the joint and this link was brought back into service.
There was no service level impact as a result of this fault.

Engineers have been dispatched to each end of the connection in order to perform end to end testing on the fibre. With these test results a point of failure can be identified for later repair.
These sites continue to operate with reduced resiliency only. There is no service level impact. We will update this notice with any further information.
