DE/BER01 to PL/WAW01 Fibre Fault (SN-20200720-1)

Issue Summary

There is currently a fault with a fibre link between DE/BER01 (E-Shelter BER01 Berlin) and PL/WAW01 (LIM DC Warsaw).

Traffic has been automatically re-routed using alternate paths and there has been no interruption to service.

Customers should be aware that these sites are operating with reduced resiliency only. There is no service level impact. We will update this notice once the route is brought back into service.

This issue was resolved at 4:14 AM UTC (5:15 BST) this morning.

This was caused by an underground fibre break, which was repaired by local teams in Poland.

This issue is being caused by a suspected fibre break in Poznan, Poland. 

Repair teams have been dispatched to the site of the break and we await further details on the status of the repairs.
